This little activity is where you just keep writing (or typing) things that randomly pop into your head. If you read it a few days, months, or even years later, you can often figure out what was on your mind at that time. I find that it also sometimes yield poetic phrases from my head. Try it sometime and see what you get.

popsicle iron audacity flipper bingo star wars stuff to do sit down shut up I'm double parked lunchbox pencil fingernail oddity insane asylum coelophysis chair carburetor purple awesome Friday home sleeping chain reaction bowling pin bracelet secrets more secrets what can I tell the world that they haven't already heard before a world that comes and goes ebbs and flows but the river keeps going even though the world has stopped a silent parade bangs on in my head and nobody stops to listen next thing you know it has sunken behind you before you even stopped to hear what they said why does the rainbow seem gray today why is everything so dull if only the clock would outrun me like everyone else does starting and stopping and zipping and popping are all the the world's troubles on your shoulders or is the lunatic in you head are the clowns at the Olive Garden today oh wait a second I really don't care I just want to sleep and wake up in the morning with fresh air and a sunny fall day with only the breeze pushing me down what do you want me to say I'm drowned in words that I can't put together gotta express myself someway but I'm sinking too fast and seeing bad weather dark words from a dim mind that nobody stops to read anyway well I hope you enjoyed these fleeting moments because guess what they're gone forever
